JoAnne,
I just found out about Siggie. We were teammates on the Rayne High six man football team. I have stories about Siggie that I still tell people. Siggie and I shared November 2nd as a birthday, but he was one year older.I last saw him at my 50th High School Reunion. I may have met you since I lived across the street from Phillip and Alberta in Lafayette and I know Siggie visited there once. I really liked him and have so many memories of our time together. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

From making "our kind" of coffee to cutting up and playing cards, I will miss so many things about you. I'm so thankful you came into my life PawPaw.

I met Sig when I was 16 years old. We worked at a Gulf service station together.
He taught me about giving our employer the best that we could.
I was so impressed that I told my father about him and dad had his employer, Schlumberger, hire Sig.
In my mind, Schlumberger got the best of the deal.
I haven't seen or heard about Sig in well over 45 years, but I remember him well.
My sympathies to the family.

DEAR FAMILY,
I AM SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF SIG'S PASSING. IN MY BRIEF VISITS WITH HIM WHEN WE RAN INTO EACH OTHER IN TOWN, I FOUND HIM TO ALWAYS BE SUCH A KIND AND SWEET GENTLEMAN. HE WILL BE MISSED.

I love you Daddy. I'm going to miss your heartfelt laughter and the twinkle in your eye everytime I walked into a room. I know you're feeling no pain. That is the only peace I feel right now. Thank you for all your love, your advice, your jokes, your good food and being the best father in the world. I love you. Teri
