SOPHIA DORIS SPILLMAN

SOPHIA DORIS SPILLMAN, 82, has gone to be with her Lord on August 11, 2010. Sophia was born in Little Rock, AR on August 29, 1927 to Edward and Nellie McClure. Sophia was a very active and loving person. She taught Sunday school, was a UBA preschool trainer, and was known as the "Fairy Princess". Sophia loved children. She also sang in the Memorial Baptist Church choir, was active in VBS, and was a caretaker for her mother and mother-in-law.Sophia is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Robert F. Spillman, children: Bobbie Lewis (Don), Judy Smith (Richard), and Robert "Rick" Spillman, Jr. (Linda), sister: Clara Welch, brother: Bobby Hokams, eight grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Friday, August 13th from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9:00am on Saturday, August 14th at the chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery.
