Stephanie Jeanne (Bouck) Freeman died suddenly in her home last week at the age of 64.
Stephanie was a mother first, and everything else followed from that. She completed her undergraduate degree at Florida State University, and earned master's degrees from Vanderbilt University and Stephen F. Austin University. She was an educator for most of her professional career, spending the majority of that career as a guidance counselor at middle and high schools in Texas and Florida. She enjoyed helping kids shape their futures.
Stephanie also enjoyed traveling, especially to see her kids. She spent a good portion of her kids' college years on the road, joining them in their athletic endeavors. She took great pride in the success of each of her children and in the families that they are growing in Austin and Scotland.
Stephanie will be loved and missed by surviving mother, Lorraine Bouck, sister Kim Bouck, brothers, Tom Bouck, John Bouck, and Pete Bouck, and their families, her two children, Steven Frazier and Michelle Strachan and their families, and a dear friend Cindy McMillin. She was predeceased by her father Harold Bouck and a brother, David Bouck.
