It was truly a pleasure knowing Stephanie. My heart is broken, but it was amazing watching her fight the good fight with all she had....she was truly an inspiration to me.

She ran a great race! She finished strong! I spent last weekend with her son, Spencer at Church Camp and I could easily see the compassion for others first that she taught him - isn't that the true message of Christ? God Bless the Johnson family!

Though I hadn't had the fortune of meeting Stephanie, I was so impressed by her courage to not only fight the cancer but to help others who are fighting it as well. My two oldest sons are racing in her triathlon this September and hope through our money raised, we can help other familes in Stephanie's honor. She is certainly an inspiration to everyone. I will be praying for God to grant her friends and family peace and comfort during this difficult time. As He reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God gave Stephanie great plans here on Earth and certainly has more amazing things in store for her up in Heaven.

I met Stephanie for the first time in June at a swim meet. I wanted to meet her as I had just completed my chemo for breast cancer and wanted her to know what an inspiration she was to me. I hope my words stayed with her for the last month of her life. To her family, she will live on in the memories of so many people. She touched us all.
