Stephen Bartusiak Obituary

Stephen Dylan Bartusiak, age 37, passed away in Houston TX on Oct 19, 2023. He was born on Nov 6, 1985 in Kingston, PA.
He was educated at elementary schools in Edinburgh Scotland, Houston TX, and Blakeslee PA. He graduated from Clear Creek HS and earned a B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. Steve was a science teacher at Scarborough HS in Houston for four years. He worked as a property manager for seven years.
Steve's calling was as a teacher – dedicated to the craft of inquiry-based instruction with a touch of entertainment in the classroom. For a time, he did standup comedy in Houston and he was a master of card tricks. He was respected and well-liked by his students. He was a sought-after playmate by his nieces, nephews, and other children in his life.
Steve was predeceased by his sister, Skye, and mother, Helen. He is survived by his father, Don., and stepmother, Sheryl.
Private memorial services will be held in Pennsylvania in December and in Houston in January 2024.
In remembrance of Steve's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made in his memory to the Brain & Behavioral Research Foundation (bbrfoundation.org).

You were always kind and beautiful and happy and you had a beautiful sister that was always smiling and then when you were young you'd always play with Skye McCole Bartusiak the a very happy and beautiful sister that you had she was an good actor her hard work payed off and I loved all here movies especially The Patriots it was my most Favorite movie i'v seen in my whole life and I started to like her, and you Stephen you did a great job on taking care of your sister when she was young I am thankful that you did that so I wanted to say thank you for your hard work on every thing that you did on your life and hope that you would enjoy meeting up with you ancestors and families especially you sister in Heaven and please tell her that I missed her movies and especially her self anyways Thank You for letting me say this to you hope you enjoyed your life in this world and also you family ancestor's and i'll see you soon. R.I.P. Stephen Bartusiak. Love You All From The Bottom of my heart and I will always Remember You All.
