I was saddened today when I heard the news. My husband has gone to Dr. Watson for years and I finally switched my dental care to him in December. I thought I had finally found a dentist that I liked. Our prayers are with the Watson family.

To the Watson family and the staff: We just heard about Dr. Watson yesterday. He was our family dentist for over 30 years -- even when I remarried and moved out to Spring, I just couldn't give him up. My children even loved going to his office back then. He was a great guy and we will surely miss his humor and all his golf stories. We hope you will be comforted to know that your family is being lifted up in our thoughts and prayers. Shirley Cantrell

Andrea and I did not know about Tommy until SMITTY told us Wednesday night. We extend ou deepest sympathies to his entire family.

The McLeod Family members were neighhood friends of the Watsons in the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s. Stephen and Tommy were great guys, and, I being younger, always looked up to both of them. Stephen had to be one of the best looking guys in Galveston County without a doubt. We will all miss him and are so sorry for his wife, children and grandchildren. Doug McLeod - Galveston Island

We extend our deepest sympathy to the family. We are truly sorry for your loss. Dr. Watson was our family dentist for over thirty years. He was one of the most caring doctors I have known and also a great friend. He always wanted to know about what was going on in our lives as well as our children. He never failed to ask us about the "Fat Stock Show". He will be truly missed.

Our deepest sympathy for Dr. Watson's family and staff. Dr. Watson was a great dentist and a wonderful man. He was my dentist for over 30 years and took care of all my family members for many years. We will miss him and his great sense of humor. Heaven must have needed a dentist and he chose Stephen. We will never forget him or his golf stories. You are missed.

My family is very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. My dad Bob and my mother Marilyn were close friends of Steve's family for many years. I last saw Steve and his brother Tom at my dad's funeral in October and was reminded of the good times when we all laughed our way around the golf course at Inwood Forest. Steve was a very kind and loving friend to my parents and they dearly loved him and his family. My deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

My heart is heavy and I cannot believe that Dr. Watson has gone before us. He has been our friend and family dentist for many years and we have shared family history and family stories. When I got my 2001 PT Cruiser he just HAD to DRIVE it. I had to laugh at him as he pulled out of the parking lot onto Antoine........he said he really enjoyed the ride. May God Bless him and the Family at this time in their lives. They will see him again, rest assured. He will be missed by his family and those of us he left behind!

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. We referred to him not only as our dentist of 20 plus years but also a great friend! As much as we hated going to the dentist, we always shared so many laughs and good times. He also had MANY of our family members as patients for years. I was just with my dad on Monday in the office and I was greeted with a big hug and that wonderful warm smile! What a shock for all of us. He will TRULY be missed! Again, you have our DEEPEST sympathy and you will be in our constant thoughts and prayers.

Watson was both a great Doctor and a friend he will be greatly missed by me and my family. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Our prayers go out to your family. Losing a family member is never easy. And when it is the father of a dear friend, it is like extended family. I always "enjoyed" (as much as you can enjoy going to a dentist) going to him as my dentist. He always made me laugh.

CORRECTION:

Dr. Watson has been our family dentist for 30 years, not 40. It was a typeo error. Regardless, he

was still loved by my family.

My most sincere condolences to the family. I have fond memories of our high school years in Galveston.

Regret the loss of your loved one and my dentist for many, many years. He was a kind and gentle man and an expert in his work. He has probably checked out the golf courses up There already. May God bestow eternal peace on his departed soul.
