Sue Draper Obituary
1928-2017
Sue Draper, born Emma Louise Blair on August 28, 1928 in Houston to Marie Inez Wolkarte Blair and Allen H. Blair, Sr., died peacefully at home surrounded by her children on March 25, 2017.
She was preceded in death by husband Jim Draper, Jr., sons Doug and Walter, and daughter Ann Vaughn. She is survived by children Sara, John, and Greg Draper, and Jane Ashe, and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2017, 5:00pm until 8:00pm with Evening Prayer at 7:00pm in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. Funeral Mass will be conducted Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Drive, Houston, Texas 77024 with interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Avenue, Houston, Texas 77023.

Thank God for Sue's life on Earth. She took me in her home, treated me with kindness and love and helped me with my new born son. She never judged me for making mistakes in my life. She was a true Christian women and will be missed by many. I look forward to be with her in heaven some day!

Dear Draper family, I am very sorry for your loss. Sue taught both my daughter, Ashli and my son Liam piano in Houston Texas, I so enjoyed my time with her in the little chapel at Holy Spirit Episcopal School. We always had a few minutes before the children came in, we would chat about the world, the universe and everything. We missed her when we returned to Australia 5 years ago.
