Although the time we spend together was short she will always be in my heart. My heart goes out to her family. She overcame all of the obsticles that were place in front of her and made miracles happen. Her light will be missed.

I am so saddened by the news of the passing of Tammy. She was a wonderful friend and inspired me to be a better teacher during the years we taught together in Dayton. Tammy was an incredible example to her students and all those around her. My greatest memory of Tammy is a "road trip" we took to the flea market in Canton, Texas the first year we taught together. We had such a wonderful time and she was so busy collecting fun items for her classroom and students while the rest of us were selfishly shopping for ourselves!!
