He then served in the US Navy treating soldiers returning from Vietnam. He moved to Baytown in 1974 where he lived and worked in private practice for 40 years. Ted touched many lives both personally and professionally and will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents Ramah and Annie Krell.
Ted is survived by his wife, Peggy Krell of 46 years; his daughter, Meredith Novosad and husband Andrew; his sons, Blair Krell and wife Suzanne, Brent Hopper and wife Rebecca, and Brad Hopper and wife Judi; sister, Patricia Darnell and husband Danny; and his grandchildren; Jacob Krell, Emily Krell, Margaret Novosad, William Novosad, Jenna Hopper, Carson Hopper and Dillon Hopper.
Pallbearers serving will be Danny Darnell, Andrew Novosad, Jacob Krell, Carson Hopper, Dillon Hopper, and William Novosad.

I knew Dr Krell very well and also you Peggy. I worked for Baytown Medical/Humana Hospital for almost 12 years. I remember both of you being very sweet and kind. So sorry to hear he is no longer with you and enjoying the things he loved. My condolences to all of you,

My best memories of Dr Krell were watching him helping psychiatric patients. He was professional, a great teacher, compassionate and truly loved caring for his patients. He was one of the best doctors I ever worked with. Sending my sincere condolences to his family.
