Tim Seymour Obituary

Timothy M. Seymour
1954-2015
Timothy, 60, died of natural causes in Houston Jan 15. Though he spent most of his life in Houston, Tim was born in Beaumont, where he also received his BS in Mathematics at Lamar U in 1979. He earned his MA in Mathematics at UT at Austin and his teaching degree at Huntsville's Sam Houston State U. Tim's gentle nature, exceptional intelligence and inimitable wit endeared him in perpetuity to those with whom he shared his life. His remaining family include his sister Melissa, brother Jeremy, sister-in-law Sara, and niece Jillian and caring extended family. For over ten years Tim taught advanced math at ITT where his students and co-workers respected and valued him as an extraordinary instructor. A memorial service will be held at the Guardian Angel Funeral Home, 2414 Little York, RD., Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a charity of your choosing.

Dear Family of Tim... I am saddened to read of Tim's death. He was the son of my dearest friend in Houston, Sue S Seymour. We knew Tim as a little fellow when we met the family on Effie Street in Bellaire, TX in 1957. His mother recognized his brilliance early on. He is now united with Sue and Sheryl and his dear Gramma Seymour and our Heavenly Father.
