Tommy Pettiette Obituary

Tommy Lee Pettiette II
1991-2021
Tommy Lee Pettiette II, 29, of Houston, Texas and most recently of Belgrade, Serbia, passed away peacefully while at home awaiting surgery for an acute illness on November 11, 2021. He was born in Houston, Texas where he attended Chapelwood School for Young Children, The Regis School of the Sacred Heart, St. Francis Episcopal Day School, and Episcopal High School. Tommy continued his education at Louisiana State University and the University of Houston.
Tommy was a kind and gentle soul. He loved being outdoors and playing sports. His favorite times were on trips with family members and friends. Tommy was an incredible cook, inspired by his father. His desire for achievement, love for others, and his sense of adventure led him to Serbia where he worked as an internet based English teacher. During this time, he used his love of technology to investigate "start-up" businesses and found his own firm, Serbex Global LLC, in 2019.
It was in Serbia where Tommy met and married Victoria Yangolenko, the love of his life, on September 30, 2021. It was with Victoria that Tommy found his true and complete happiness. They enjoyed an extended honeymoon on the island of Mauritius, Africa before returning home as a happily married couple.
Tommy had a strong faith which contributed to his kind heart and caring nature. He always had a smile on his face and was always eager to help those who couldn't advocate for themselves, especially animals.
Tommy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his wife, Victoria; his parents, Nancy Marcus Pettiette, and Tom Pettiette; in-laws, Elena and Alexander Yangolenko; sister & brother-in-law Kelly and James Goerig; their children, Grace, Madison, and Faith; sister, Katie Pettiette; brother-in-law, Ilia; adored grandparents, Mary K. and Wince Marcus, as well as, numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or the ASPCA. A celebration of life will be announced by the family in early 2022.

Tommy was always so kind to me. I met him in middle school and our friendship continued on through our time at LSU together. When I first got to LSU, he showed me around and was always there if I needed anything. I´m so, so sorry and am praying for his loved ones. I know he´s with God and will always be with you all.
