I'm trully sadden of this situation, I can't sit here and say I know how you guys feel but I can imagine the pain. Mr. Qualls was a great person, and most of all a great motivator, the type of person that you hardly ever saw mad, sad, or down, always had a smile and a joke to go along with it. He was the type of person you could go to when you were feeling mad or down about situation, mostly athletics and change your whole attitude from negative to postive and thats what he did for me alot. From the first time me and his son Tommy met in middle school at Oak Village he treated me as one of his own, all the way up until I graduated High School and I appreciate that. We trully send our condolences to the Qualls Family, BROTHERMAN you will really be miss, but it will get better guys so keep your head up. -RAY-

To the Qualls family,
I just wanted to send my empathy and prayers to your family. Every time I'd seen Mr. Qualls he had nothing but kind words. He was the grandfather of my son and the memory's left to Davian are reflecting back when Mr. Qualls told him to play good at the game against the Colts and all other games in that matter. He will be missed and I will keep your family in my prayers.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss of Tommy. I have good memories of him from school. If my mind is accurate he was one of our football players at B.C. Elmore who played with Dwayne Frazier & Scotty Jones. Go Tommy! He and his sister were very active in school organizations. No words can bring him back, but . . . whenever your think of him or something reminds you of him, a smile will be in your heart.

Just remember that God will supply all your needs in time of sorrow. In the Bible it tells us that he will wipe all your tears away. Lean on him at this time and let him guide your footsteps. Me and my family will be praying for you and the kids.

To The Qualls Family I remember Tommy well growing up in the same community we shared many happy times. We all were raised in the same church. Thanks to Tommy's great football skills I got to attend many football games for B.C. Elemore High School. And I learned to love the game. Tommy was always loving and kind to me. Tommy was a very special cousin to me. He will be dearly missed. Much Love to The Qualls Family.

I was very saddened when I found out about Mr. Qualls passing. But then I began to think of the memories I have had of him. Mr. Qualls (and Mrs. Qualls) was then and will always be very special to me. I came to know Mr. Qualls many years ago, and although I hadn't seen him in a long time, I never forgot about him. One thing is for sure - if you went to Forest Brook, you knew Mr. Qualls! He never missed a game, and not one track meet. He would even come to watch practice. Everyone at school grew to love him, and looked forward to seeing him because he was such a cool and down to earth person. A lot of people admired his children because of the special relationship he had with them, one a lot of children didn't have growing up. I recall a classmate one day saying, "I wish I had a daddy like that." That is a great reflection on the type of person he was. What I would like to say to the family, to Mrs. Qualls, Antoinette, Tommy, Lydell, your spouses, your children, and just to the entire Qualls family, is to be strong. Keep your head up and pray. I personally have gone through this, losing my own father just over 5 years ago, and it is still a struggle at times even now. But time heals everything. You will have your good days and your bad days, and it is definitely okay to cry. Sometimes crying helps. Mr. Qualls may not be here in the physical form, but he will forever remain in your hearts, and the hearts of a lot of other people, including me. Remember the great memories that each of you have shared with him - those can never be taken away. When we go through certain things in life, we sometimes want to question God about why they happen, but we can't cause everything happens for a reason. There is no way you can ever prepare yourself for a time like this, but remember that God will not put more on you than you can bear. God is always with us, even when we are not with him. And if you don't have a good relationship with God, I encourage you to get one because he will definitely be your source for healing and getting through this difficult time. I pray that you may find strength and peace, and that God grants you the serenity to accept things that you can not change.
Sincerely,
Erika
