On July 9, 2025, Mrs. Verna Haynes Lusk received her wings, joining her beloved husband, General Lusk, in eternal rest.
Her homegoing service will be held on July 19, 2025 at Pleasant Spring Community Church, 4058 County Rd. 204, Centerville, Texas 75833. Viewing – 11 A.M. and Service – 12 P.M. Interment will follow at Burton Cemetery, Egypt Community.

To the Family:
It's been years but I will never forget the kind spirit that Mrs. Lusk possessed. She had an abiding strength that was gentle but STRONG. That strength transcends throughout her family.
