William G. Pullen Jr.
1944-2018
William G. Pullen Jr- husband of Wilma van Antwerpen Pullen. Born in Camden, TX on June 30, 1944 to the late W.G. and Marie Wilder Lazalier Pullen.
Preceded in death by his parents, son, Frank Pullen, by sisters, Bettie Lazalier Brownhill, Mary Lazalier Cockrell, Barbara Lazalier Cockrell, and brother in law,
Boudewijn.
Mr. Pullen is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wilma; brother, Michael; aunt, Doris Pullen Rogers; nieces, Femke, Iris; nephews, Robert, Nathan, Eric, Paul, Jesse, Wouter; brothers-in-law Harrie, Peter; and sister-in-law, Annemieke.
William, also known as Bill and Buster, was a long time Houstonian. He graduated from Corrigan High School in 1962. Enlisted in the USAF and served most of his enlistment in Europe, serving in Germany and Holland where he met the love of his life, his wife, Wilma. After serving in the USAF, he and Wilma settled in Houston. He worked in the paint sales business in Houston for almost 40 years. He was an avid golfer, loved his dogs, enjoyed feeding birds in his yard, loved staying in contact with family and friends via Facebook, and telling (bad) jokes.
The memorial service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
