Franklin Pullen Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shaffer Funeral Home - Bronte on Dec. 23, 2025.
Franklin Eddie Pullen Sr., 75, walked peacefully into the arms of his Creator on December 18, 2025. He passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his beautiful wife and the greatest pride of his life: his family. Franklin was a man defined by his devotion-to his roots, to his siblings, and most profoundly, to the generations that followed him. Born to James Edward and Dorothy Inez Pullen, Franklin carried the values of his parents throughout his 75 years, acting as a pillar of strength and a source of steady love for all who knew him.
The true anchor of his life was his loving bride, Tanja Pullen. Their life together was a beautiful testament to love, companionship, and a deep, unwavering devotion to one another. Tanja was more than his wife; she was his soulmate, his trusted confidante, and the very heart of his home. Together, they navigated the complexities of life, facing every challenge hand-in-hand and celebrating every joy with shared laughter. They took immense pride in watching their family grow, finding their greatest fulfillment in the legacy they built together. While the road was not always easy, they possessed a rare and steadfast ability to always find the best in each other. No matter the obstacle, they overcame it through the strength of their bond, proving that their love could weather any storm.
To his six children, Franklin was more than a father; he was a guide and a constant. Whether he was offering a word of wisdom or simply a quiet presence, he taught his children the meaning of family. His legacy lives on through the laughter, stories, and shared strength of Robert, Eddie Jr., Felecia, Natasha, Mica, and Coby. As a brother to Terry, Jerry, Patricia, Debbie, and Lana, Franklin was a lifelong friend and a keeper of family history. He understood that family was not just a group of people, but a bond that could withstand any storm.
Franklin's greatest masterpiece was the family he left behind. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his true crowning glory. Whether he was offering a lap to sit on or a hand to hold, he poured his heart into every generation. He taught them that family is an unbreakable bond, leaving them with the comfort of knowing they were cherished by the very best.
Franklin was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James Edward and Dorothy Inez Pullen; his brother, James "Hoot" Pullen; and his precious grandson, Korbyn Fiveash. We find comfort in imagining the joyful reunion taking place on the other side. Franklin Eddie Pullen Sr. lived a life that was full, vibrant, and dedicated. He leaves behind a sprawling, beautiful family who will carry his name and his spirit forward in everything they do. He was our rock, our storyteller, and our heart.
