Martha Meryl (Allen) Pullen, 88, of Pearland, Texas, passed from this life on January 11, 2026. Martha was born on October 4, 1937, to Lou Millard and Bulah Cora (Kissick) Allen. Known as "Sissie" to her family, she was the twin sister of Howard "Buddy" Allen.

Martha married Don Pullen on November 23, 1955, in Teague, Texas. Don and Martha built a life together centered around their love for Christ and His church, raising their four children, and educating young people. Martha was a longtime member of the Baywood Church of Christ in Pasadena and later the Westside Church of Christ in Pearland. She worked as an elementary school teacher for many years in Galena Park, where she was well loved by her students and fellow staff members. Martha enjoyed sewing, camping, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was cherished for her hospitality and her gentle, Christ-like spirit.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Allen; her twin brother, Howard "Buddy" Allen; her sister, Barbara Armstrong; her son-in-law, Justin Springer; and numerous extended family members.

Martha is survived by her husband of 70 years, Don Pullen; her son, Don Allen Pullen and wife Donya; her son, Clifton Pullen; her daughter, Karen Springer Blankenship and husband Tony; her daughter, Molly Helton and husband Matthew; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several extended family members, friends, and church family.

Services (Saturday, January 24, 2026)

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. - Westside Church of Christ, 6203 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. - Westside Church of Christ

Graveside Service: Immediately following - South Park Cemetery, 1310 N. Main St., Pearland, TX

Lunch (family and out-of-town guests): 12:30 p.m. - Westside Church of Christ
