William Stewart Obituary
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon until seven o'clock in the evening on Thursday, the 18th of September, in the Fellowship Hall at Bethel Church, 825 Bering Drive in Houston. At seven o'clock a memorial service will commence.
The burial will be near his birthplace in Pennsylvania on September 22.
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be directed to Forest Glen Camp, 34 Forest Glen Rd., Huntsville, TX 77340.

Lorraine and I are so saddened to learn this evening of your father's home-going. We have many fond memories of serving together beginning nearly 40 years ago at Believers Fellowship. Your father epitomized faithfulness and godliness throughout the years. You and your family will be in our prayers.

The world is a little colder, a little grayer and a little more hostile today because of the absence of Bill Stewart. Some of the color has drained from the lives of those who knew him. His personality was unique – he was one of a kind. There are things that only Bill knew and could tell us – views that only Bill had. I first met him in the mid-80's, and had the privilege of serving on one board with him and of being in his home numerous times. Maturity, dedication to Kingdom work, financial generosity – and genuine humility were characteristic of him. I respected his grasp of the scriptures. He had a very big heart; you always felt accepted in his presence. My life is richer for having known him. I expect that this hour he is, “about his Father's business,” having the best time imaginable.
