Wilma Haynes Obituary

WILMA HAYNES, 91, of Houston passed away on August 4, 2007. She was born on September 21, 1915 in Winslow, Arizona where her parents lived for a short time before returning to their home in Jayton, Texas. On November 29, 1933, she married Charles C. Worthen. He preceded her in death in 1955. She married J.D. Haynes on July 29, 1960. He passed away on May 18, 1975. Mrs. Haynes was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Midland. She is survived by her son, Charles Worthen, and wife, Susan, of Galveston; her daughter, Ann Ervin and husband, Mackey, of Houston; step-son, Don Haynes and wife, Kathy, of Wimberley; grandchildren, Karen Dixon and husband, Hank, Charles Worthen, Jr., John Worthen and wife, Carrie, Leigh Ann Cerny and husband, Mark, and Amy Mitton and husband, Jon. She is survived by 9 great-grandchildren, her loving sister, Marjorie Jenkins of Houston, a niece, and a nephew. Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland.
