Carmical,
80, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2014 surrounded by her family.
Visitation and pre-reception will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM, Saturday, March 29 at South Park Funeral Home, Pearland, Texas
Yvonne was born to Elsie and H.K. (Doc) Doss on May 25, 1933 and grew up in Damon, Texas. She was the widow of Bruce Owen Smith and later married Robert L. Carmical. She was a loyal and loved employee of the Union Pacific Railroad for 57 years. Yvonne was a fearsome poker and slot machine player and was a world champion friend to many.
Yvonne is survived by her daughters Lisa Smith Lloyd and husband Jerry; Lynda Carmical McInnerney and husband Kevin; her two sons, Bruce (Mark) Smith and wife Caprice; and Sean Smith; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her loving sister Patsy Dirba; nieces and nephews.
The family of Yvonne Carmical wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at M D Anderson Hospital.

What a privilege to know "Aunt" Yvonne! She will be greatly missed by those who saw her infrequently; so our thoughts and prayers are fervently with those who love her and counted on her so much daily. She was some kind of special lady. May she rest in the peace and the glory of the Lord.
