Clarence (Wimpy) Wessely, age 94, of Kewaunee died Thursday June 7, 2012 at the Kewaunee Care Center. He was born on November 14, 1917 in Kewaunee to the late John Wessely Jr. and Anna Janda Wessely.
Wimpy attended Kewaunee Schools, graduating with the Kewaunee High School Class of 1935.
On September 11, 1946, he married Armella Bredael, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Luxemburg. She preceded him in death on June 3, 1975. On July 7, 1979, he married Eleanor (Gauthier) Plansky, at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee. She preceded him in death on August 26, 2000.

He was appointed the regular carrier in October of 1975, and held that job until his retirement. In his early retirement years, he was also known as the "bike man", always ready to fix a broken one. He loved playing sheephead, polka dancing, and gardening, with his garden always being bigger than what he needed. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be deeply missed.
