Buresh, Frank A.

Frank A. Buresh, a resident of Kindred Hearts, Manitowoc, died on June 14, 2013 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Frank was born on June 16, 1922, in Manitowoc, WI., son of the late John and Katherine (Sloup) Buresh. He served in the United States Army during WWII. On September 1, 1951 he married the former Leona Krofta in Tisch Mills, WI. She preceded him in death on December 31, 2005. Frank was a member of the VFW Otto Oas Post 659 and the Disabled Vets Chapter 24.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Lynn and Mike Cory, Noblesville, IN; and one sister: Lillian Kempka, Charlotte, NC. He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Elizabeth Kempka and Mary Jane Buresh; and two brothers-in-law: Adolph and Lambert Kempka.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William Van Dyn hoven with burial to follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Tisch Mills.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, where a Prayer Service will be held.
