My sympathy to you all. I am a cousin of Gene, didn't get to see him very often, but the times I did, was always a great time catching up on things, and just talking with him. You all take care now.

My Cousins Lee Rae, Heidi and Tammy. I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. I will never forget my Uncle Gene. What a great guy. I'll never forget when I was 5 or 6 years old, for my birthday I got a bike. And my Uncle Gene rode that bike to our house from where he works. What a great surprise and moment for me at such a young age. I will never forget that day, and my Uncle Gene with my parents made it a special moment for a young boy. I have other great memories of him throughout our lives. He will be missed, that great sense of humor. My deepest condolences.

LeRae, Heidi and Tammy, my prayers to all of you and your families. Cousin Gene was a person who could light up a room with his laugh and no one wore a mustache like him. So thankful I got to see him in June by cousin Audrey's.

Gene would often visit Rhonda and I when we lived in Green Bay. Gene always made time for friends and family. His friendly attitude and big smile were his invite into our home. We'd watch the Packers, talk about life and he always asked how we were doing. Gene visited us many times on his ventures to the Casino. Gene had a heart of gold and his laugh was contagious. Rhonda and I will miss him and we will always keep him in our prayers, thoughts and memories. We will miss you, our friend.

Your Dad was like an uncle to me. He always asked Sue for permission, when she wasn't around; he heard her respond, "Yes" every time. When we were ice fishing, we were "On a mission from God" as he charged his Chevy Blazer across the ice. Your Dad will be missed. He was my friend.
