Waskow, Julie Ann

Julie Ann Waskow, age 54, a Two Rivers resident, died unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, October 21, 2015 at her residence.

She was born on April 11, 1961, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Kenneth and Nancy (Kempka) Waskow. Julie was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1979. She was currently attending NWTC in the Medical Coding Program. Julie was passionate about her new role at AmeriCollect and was excited about going to school for medical coding. She was an animal lover, especially her Bassett Hound, Hannah. Julie liked being an aunt and great-aunt. One of Julie's favorite chores was cutting the lawn on her riding lawnmower. Julie always looked forward to Saturday night sister get togethers.

Survivors include her siblings: Katy Waskow, Two Rivers, who Julie lived with and was her best friend, Steven Waskow and special friend: Kathy Brown, Brillion, Pamela Krall, Manitowoc, Frank Waskow and Donna Shryver, New York, Joan Waskow, Manitowoc, Christine Waskow, Manitowoc, Ann Waskow, Manitowoc, and David Waskow, Manitowoc; and her beloved dog: Hannah. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Howard and Ethel Kempka and her paternal grandparents: Frank and Jenny Waskow.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the memorial service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and Julie's Cremains will remain with the family.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 2:00 PM until 4:45 PM.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Cynthia Lasecki and the staff at Bellin Hospital and Bellin Rehab. Also to Brent Watzka and Kim at Access Prosthetics for their care and compassion shown towards Julie and her family.
