Margaret E. Dvorak

Two Rivers, Wisconsin - Margaret E. Dvorak, age 86, of Two Rivers passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at Northland Lodge, Two Rivers, after a short battle with cancer.

Margaret was born August 30, 1934 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Henry and Elsie (Lehrman) Havlinek. She was baptized into Christ on September 16, 1934 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Two Rivers, and confirmed on March 21st, 1948. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers with the Class of 1952. On July 27, 1975 she was united in marriage to Roland H. Dvorak at St. John's. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2021.

Margaret worked for Paragon Electric from 1952 until 1975, working her way up to office services supervisor before leaving to focus on her family. She loved to cook and was famous for baking bread and canning pickles. Margaret loved classical music and could often be found playing Mozart and Chopin on the piano. Over the years Margaret served at St. John's in several roles including the hot lunch program and Sunday School.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Todd & Tanya Dvorak, Combined Locks; three grandchildren: Evan, Ella and Anna Dvorak; four sisters and a brother-in-law: Elaine Seefeldt, Manitowoc; Janet Herman, Waukesha; Dorothy Krummel, Waukesha; Judith & Bruce Lusk, Manitowoc; her in-laws: Carol Dvorak, Sturgeon Bay; Betty & Ray Swagel, Kewaunee; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Elsie Havlinek, her husband Roland Dvorak, two brothers and a sister-in-law: Gordon & Eleanor Havlinek and Ken Havlinek; and several in-laws: Don Krummel, Richard Seefeldt, Sydney Herman, Milton Dvorak, Robert Dvorak, Gordon & Irene Dvorak, Jeanette & Robert Nemetz and Grace & Rudy Novitski,.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Arndt with burial to follow services at Forestview Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The service will be available online at mdvorak.sjtworivers.org.
