Margaret F. Vanderbloemen
Two Rivers - Margaret F. Vanderbloemen, age 91, a Two Rivers resident, passed away Tuesday morning, March 27, 2018 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
She was born June 2, 1926 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Norbert and Frances (Rammer) Hoffman. Margaret attended Washington High School, Two Rivers, and graduated with the class of 1944. On May 4, 1946 she married Gervase G. Vanderbloemen at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1984. She was employed with Hamilton Manufacturing for 22 years until her retirement in 1992. Margaret volunteered at Aurora Medical Center in the gift shop and with same day recovery for many years.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law: Lee (Sandra) Vanderbloemen, Two Rivers, Alan Vanderbloemen, Manitowoc, and Neal Vanderbloemen, Two Rivers; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Diane (Michael) Tadych, Two Rivers, Lynn (Glenn) Naidl, Manitowoc, Kay (Curt) Larscheid, Shawano, and Jill (Jon) Surfus, Pleasant Prairie; six grandchildren: Bradley Tadych (Lisa), Rebecca Tadych (Aaron), Brenda Staab (Rick), Jeffrey Diedrich, Kelly Fanslau (Blake), and Jessica (Josh) Schultz; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Norbert (Beth) Hoffman, Green Bay, and Marcel Hoffman, Florida; and one sister-in-law: Mary Mae Vanderbloemen, Virginia. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She is further preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth (Beverly) Hoffman; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Hilary (Peg) Vanderbloemen and Ruth Vanderbloemen; one brother-in-law: Eldred Vanderbloemen; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma. Margaret will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers, following the service.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
