Stephanie Nething Obituary

Nething, Stephanie J.

Stephanie J. Nething, age 31, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, the same day as her grandfather Richard's birthday, at her residence due to complications of diabetes.

Stephanie was born November 1, 1985 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to Randy Nething and the late Joni Erickson. Stephanie graduated from Valders High School class of 2004 and went on to obtain her certificate of Cosmetology from Martins College of Cosmetology in Manitowoc in 2005. She worked at the salon in JC Penney and was currently employed at Northern Labs in Manitowoc. Stephanie was an avid Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers fan. She enjoyed travelling and had been to Europe, Mexico, and Australia. Above all, Stephanie cherished the time she spent with her friends and family and was most proud to be mother to her children, Landon and Lacey.

Survivors include Stephanie's two children, Landon and Lacey; father, Randy (Aimee) Nething, Marathon; four siblings, Nick Nething, Westfield; Alexis Nething, David Nething, and Joseph Nething, all of Marathon; maternal grandmother, Jean Dohm, Manitowoc; paternal grandmother, Margaret Nething, Manitowoc; paternal aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends, especially Chris. Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Joni Erickson; grandfathers, Richard Erickson, Duain Dohm, and John Nething; aunts Loreen Erickson and Mary Propson; and uncle Terry Nething.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements; private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel, with burial of Stephanie's ashes to be with her mother at Amberg Cemetery in Amberg, WI. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

The family would like to extend many, many special thanks to Stephanie's grandmother, Jean, who has always given her time and unfailing love and care for Stephanie and the children. Thanks also to Stephanie's aunts for their constant support.
