Steven Augustine Obituary
Steven R. Augustine, age 49, of Manitowoc, died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at his residence.
Steven was born on December 11, 1962, in Manitowoc, son of Jerry and Patricia (Radandt) Augustine. Steve's passion for music, sports, photography, the great outdoors, fitness, friends, and family was felt by many. He reached many milestones and with energy and enthusiasm recently completed a half-marathon. Whether bicycling or baking, he inspired others to reach for the stars. He will be missed by many and is now listening to smooth Jazz in the sky.
He is survived by his parents: Jerry and Patricia Augustine, Manitowoc; two brothers and two sisters: Todd Augustine, Brenda Augustine, Aimee Augustine, Christopher Augustine, all of Manitowoc; his best friend: "Salty" the basset hound; one nephew: Todd Augustine Jr., Manitowoc; one niece: Hailey Augustine, Manitowoc. Aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Michael and Thelma Augustine and his maternal grandparents: Roy and Violet Radandt.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at First Lutheran Church, 521 North 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Roald Harswick will officiate. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

I will miss you my dear friend since I was nine or ten. The song "Seasons in the sun" is a song that reminds me of you and I. I met Steve on fb. He was a genuine, caring person. My daughter met a kindred spirit in Steve, with the same interests in music. We will miss him very much. Rest in peace, my friend Steve. Wish it didn't have to end this way.
