Thomas Rabideau Obituary

Thomas J. Rabideau

Two Rivers - Thomas J. Rabideau, age 76, of Two Rivers, passed away late Thursday night, May 27, 2021 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Tom was born on May 12, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to Gerald and Elizabeth (Sonnleitner) Rabideau. He was a 1963 graduate of Reedsville High School then furthered his education to earn his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. On October 15, 1966, he married Sandra Fiecko. After many years, the marriage ended in divorce. He then married Linda Jonas on June 7, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. Throughout the years, Tom worked as a carpenter; owned & operated Natural Goodness Bakery Shop in Two Rivers; and for many years was employed with Metropolitan Life where he worked as a life insurance agent, branch manager, and eventually district manager until a disability forced his retirement. Tom was a very talented musician who excelled at playing the guitar and drums; he enjoyed fishing, loved to golf, and cherished time spent with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; five children: Joe Rabideau (fiance, Danielle) of Beloit, Tammy Rabideau of Madison, Michael (Sarah) Rabideau of Wellington, FL, Daniel Rabideau and David Rabideau, both of Madison; his grandchildren: Kristil, Nicholas, Jacob, Elliott, and Charlotte Rabideau, Amber Smith, Brittany Halstead, and Mac, Cade & Gabby Shimulunas; six great-grandchildren: Logan, Jaxson, Rowan David, Kamden Thomas, Hannah, and Kynleigh. He is further survived by two brothers & sisters-in-law, Daniel (Georgia) Rabideau of Maple Grove, Rick (Carol) Rabideau of Redford, Michigan; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Jerry and Betty Rabideau; father, Walter O'Connell; and one daughter, Kristin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dave Pleier, with entombment to follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Madison, WI.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Friday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
