Bastian, Violet J.

Violet J. Bastian, age 80, of Manitowoc, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Violet was born August 30, 1932 in Marathon County, daughter of the late Guy and Eleanor (Fictum) Welch.

She is survived by one son: Randy Bastian, Texas; one daughter: Rolene Wall, Louisiana; one grand daughter and one great grand son; one sister: June Peronto, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She is preceded in death by one son: Ricky Bastian; three sisters: Marjorie Smith, Geraldine Dondlinger and Evelyn Moffatt; three brothers: Guy, Eugene, and Francis Welch.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center Chapel, 2021 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may call at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center Chapel from 12:00 noon until time of service. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the Bastian family with funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
