I learned of Wayne's passing just this morning... i served with him in the Army and can honestly say that Wayne was one of the good ones! May the family find peace in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoy the freedoms that Wayne served to maintain on behalf of his beloved Wisconsin...

Wayne was a wonderful and kind person, always there to help and always a positive force. It was a joy any time I got to see see him and he always had a smile and a funny story. A true legend and a fantastic man - he will be missed tremendously but his spirit will live on in the many, many lives he touched. I will miss you forever buddy, but we will meet again......
