Edgar Donald Royston

1928 - 2020

Edgar Donald Royston, born March 27,1929 in New Franklin, Missouri entered heaven on November 10,2020. He married Naomi Martin in 1950 and graduated from the University of Missouri in 1952. Don proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in El Paso, Tx. In 1955 they relocated to Huntsville, Al to begin a lifelong career with Thiokol Corporation. Together they raised their four children. Don and Naomi were charter members of Lakewood Baptist Church. After retirement Don was active in Kiwanis, First Baptist Church and Magnolia Trace. Don was preceded in death by his first wife Naomi Martin. Survivors include 4 children, Donna Jobe, Denise (Doug) Patterson, Lois (Rip) Patton, Robert (Wendy) Royston, second wife Joyce Royston, sister Susan(Jack) Elliott, four sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was most proud of his 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Private services will be held November 14th at First Baptist Church with burial at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
