Andrew Evdokimo Obituary

Nampa - Andrew Martin Evdokimo, 59, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away at home on September 24th, 2025.

Born in Nelson, B.C., November 22nd, 1965, his family later moved to Ventura, California and then Reno, Nevada where he graduated from Wooster High. Throughout his early life, Andy loved shooting rifles and riding dirtbikes through the desert foothills with his brothers and friends. Andy went on to attend the Universal Technical Institute in Arizona, where he earned his degree in Automotive Technology.

After having a child, he moved to Nampa, Idaho where he worked at Whit's Automotive for more than 20 years with coworkers that became his good friends. He loved his job and was always eager to help anyone, which extended into his personal life. Andy was always there to help a neighbor or a friend in need with anything from mechanics, to home repair, to lending an ear. This kindness is not forgotten and lives on in the many fond memories his friends and family hold dear.

Andy found joy in the simple things of life and could be happy in his garage with a beer and loud music. He was a skilled craftsman, with areas of interest in woodworking, handloading, carpentry, landscaping, and gardening. His years of experience and knowledge were invaluable in the community as he often offered his skills to others free of charge. Generosity and goodwill were always at the forefront of his mind and the way he lived proved that. When he wasn't repairing or building things in the garage, Andy loved spending time with his daughter playing video games, attending her sports activities, and going shooting - an activity they bonded over. He was an amazing dad not only to her, but also her friends who knew his was an "open" house where they were always welcome and could spend time as part of the family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Evdokimo and grandparents, Dorothy and Walter Bayoff.

He is survived by his daughter Ariana Evdokimo, mother Janet Evdokimo, brothers and spouses, Alan and Sheryl Evdokimo, and Arnie and Raquel Evdokimo, fiance Wendy Nichols, and family dog Vera. Andy loved his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Adam, A.J, Allison, and Autumn.

A celebration of Andy's life will be conducted October 11th, 2025 from 2-5pm at his home.
