B.J. Larsen Obituary

B.J. Larsen
06/25/1989 - 12/14/2013
Bradley Jason Larsen, 24, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Logan Regional Hospital in Logan, Utah. B.J. was born on June 25, 1989 in Logan, Utah to Shelly Spackman and Bradley Allen Larsen. He grew up in the Lewiston and Hyrum areas and attended Mountain Crest High School where he was active on the golf team and graduated in 2007. B.J. attended Utah State University on an academic scholarship and was pursuing a business degree.
Along with all members of his family, B.J. worked at Kelly's Convenience Stores in Logan and Preston. He held various positions including inventory control officer. B.J. had the entrepreneurial spirit beginning at a very young age. At the age of six he set up a bicycle repair shop in a garage behind La Tienda, soon followed by selling potatoes with his brother and cousin from the back of a semi-truck at the age of seven. This desire to develop his own business continued throughout his life and he was operating Empire Signs and ACN along with his responsibilities at Kelly's.
In 2010 B.J. met the love of his life, Alysia Brooke Hall, of Meridian, Idaho. He and Alysia (Ally) had an instant connection and quickly became inseparable. You would never see one without the other. B.J. and Ally were married on June 9, 2012 in Nampa, Idaho. They worked together, played golf together, traveled together, and were raising their dog Hank together. True love stories never have endings.
B.J. is survived by his wife Ally, of Smithfield, UT; his mother Shelly Spackman-Flippence (Todd) of Lewiston, UT; his father Bradley Allen (Stephanie) Larsen, of Preston, ID; father and mother-in-law Steve and Julie Hall, of Meridian, ID; brother Taylor Larsen, of Logan, UT; sister Morgan Bybee of Logan, UT; his step-sisters Brookley and Marquessa Larsen, of Preston, ID; his brother-in-law Nate Hall, of Boise, ID; maternal grandparents Kelly and Marilee Spackman, of Fairview, ID; maternal great grandparents Larry and Billie Lou Wiser, of Lewiston, UT; and Rosalie Hancey of Lewiston, UT; uncle K.C. Spackman of Fairview, ID and cousins Chaz Spackman, of Smithfield, UT and Bo Spackman of Fairview, ID. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfathers Gale Spackman and Bob Hancey, and paternal grandparents Bruce and Joyce Larsen.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lewiston 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 16 South Main Street in Lewiston, Utah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church in Lewiston. Interment will be in the Lewiston Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
