Chuck Bardin and I were friends for many years. I spent a lot of time with him and his parents, just watching the deer. It was a load of laughs when his mother would call the deer to her back porch, where she'd throw them apples or other fruit, just because she loved them. Chuck and I were both shooters and did a bit of that was done on that ranch. Finally, Chuck and I were both in Law Enforcement, particularly the drug side of it. He was a great friend, a very good Sheriff's Deputy, and a pleasure to know. I'm going to miss him.
