Charlotte Jane "Charlie" Jones
Charlotte J. Jones, "Charlie" passed away of natural causes at the age of 98 on April 23, 2014 at Clearwater House in Nampa, Idaho. She was the daughter of Eva and June Moffitt, born January 29, 1916 in Orangeville, Utah. She married Charles H. Jones on July 23, 1938. From this union three children were born: daughters Karen and Kathy and son Kim "K.C." .
Charlotte graduated from Carbon County High School in 1934, where she was active in the pep club. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved being a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook, baker and seamstress. In her later years she spent many enjoyable hours reading, playing bridge and watching baseball.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter Karen Larsen of Nampa, ID; daughter-in-law Lori Jones of Enoch, UT; grandchildren: Jaime Wilkerson of Jacksonville, FL, Lindee McKennon of Nampa, ID, Erika Pacheco of Rawlins, WY, Jacy Fields of Beaver, UT, Weston Jones of Cedar City, UT, Marki Dalton of Cedar City, UT and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and son.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa (208-467-7300) with a viewing to begin at 12 noon prior to the services. Interment will follow a graveside service to be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Helper, UT.
