10-12-1945 - 11-07-2015
Christine Hamill (Cornell - McDonald), 70, of Middleton, ID, lost her five-year battle to cancer in her Mooresville, NC home on November 7, 2015.
She spent most of her life working in a corporate environment, in addition to starting and running a successful business. She enjoyed horses, gardening, traveling, and reading. She loved spending time with family and friends, and getting outdoors.
She is survived by her daughters - Lisa (Kevin) and Stacey (Charles); grandchildren - Christina, Lindsey, Brittany, Madison, Emily, and Cole; 3 great-grandsons; sisters - Joyce (Bob) and Linda (Larry - d.); brothers - Darrell (Janet) and Glen (Bonnie - d.). She was preceded in death by her parents, Jennie and Vance, sisters - Barbara and Leah, and brother Roger.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Mooresville, on November 21st at 3:00 pm, with a reception following.

Chris was beautiful inside and out. As a friend, she was constant and open-hearted. Our friendship spanned many decades and though we lost contact now and again, we always managed to reunite. Being able to do so these last couple of years was a great blessing to me. I stood in awe of the strength, courage, and ability to hope that Chris possessed in the face of her illness. I'll always remember our younger days, our shenanigans, our laughter, how Chris loved to ride my horse, Star, and her unwavering friendship. I love you, Chris. Rest now in God's Pure Love!

The Chris that I remember was always full of spunk and laughter. She could light up a room just by being in it. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
