Claire Huffnagle Obituary

Claire Marie Huffnagle of Caldwell, formerly of North Augusta, S.C., went to her Heavenly Father peacefully in her sleep on May 10, 2011. Claire was born one of six children to Mark J. Huffnagle and Anna Cecilia Horan on Oct. 31, 1933, in Philadelphia, Penn.
She married Joseph Martin Mulroney, Sr. on Jan. 3, 1953. To this union, came four lovely children, Claire, Eileen, Joseph Jr., and Kevin.
Claire and Joseph later divorced.
Mom worked as a computer programmer analyst for many years at Lockheed Martin Corp. until she retired in 1989 in California.
Claire then moved to Florida to be with her sisters, Kathleen and Barbara as well as her mom, Anna.
Mom took a few cruises while she was there. She got to see the Caribbean a few times and went to Alaska once.
Kathleen, Claire and their mom, Anna, moved to Georgia before Anna died. Mom moved into the Ledges Apartments in North Augusta, S.C., where she had many friends.
When Mom's health was failing, she moved to Caldwell, Ida, to live with her daughter, Claire, and son-in-law, James Comstock, Jr.
Claire is survived by her daughters, Claire (James) Comstock Jr., Eileen (Chuck) Freed; her son, Kevin (Deanna) Beckmann, and grandson, Erick Beckmann. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen and family; her brother, Joseph and family, Mikey, Cheryl, and Vinnie, and all her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Jr.; her parents, Mark and Anna; and her sisters, Jayne, Patricia and Barbara.
Thanks to Heart and Home Hospice and special thanks to Mom's caretakers, Rebecca, Jodi, Carrie and Brandi. Thanks to everyone at Canyon West Health & Rehabilitation who took care of Mom in her final hours.
She will be greatly missed by all, especially her friends at the Ledges in South Carolina and her smoking buddies at Canyon West.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Society of Idaho. www.creamtionsociety-idaho.com.
