Clayton Henry Almquist II

1947 - 2021

Boise - Clayton Henry Almquist, was born in Boise, Idaho, to Clayton and Virginia Almquist. At the time of his death, he was accompanied by his loving daughter, Molly Almquist, and his nephew, Brett Job. He was a gentle giant that was talented in so many ways and so humble. One of his great loves was spending time in Owyhee County. He could tell you names of every road, creek and valley and he found and photographed hundreds of Indian petroglyphs. This love of Owyhee County all started when he was 2 years old, and as recently as two weeks ago he was in Owyhee County for the very last time on another venture.

He is survived by his daughter, Molly Almquist; son, Sam Pyne and his wife, Katie; sister, Sharon Job; and nephew, Brett Job and his wife, Lisa.

He is also survived by grandsons: Seth Pyne and Logan Pyne; great niece, Ashley Job and his great nephews: Tanner Job, Berkley Olmstead, Murphy Olmstead.
