Dale Parsons Obituary
Dale was born in Twin Falls on April 11, 1932 to Milton Roy and Edna Lee Fleshman Parsons. He attended Twin Falls Jr. High and Sr. High, graduating in 1950. From 1951-1954 Dale served in the U.S. Coast Guard. In 1952, Dale married Mary Ellen Dale. In 1953, the couple welcomed their first daughter Robyn Ann. Daughter Ginger Sue was born in 1956, and soon after completed his education with a B.S. in Education from Idaho State and later a master's degree in Vocational Counseling from University of Idaho. Dale taught at Pocatello High School and served as a Vocational Counselor at ISU. He moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1967 and served as a Vocational Counselor at North Idaho College, where he worked until retiring in 1988 to pursue full time RVing.
Dale was a member of Wright Congregational Church; Kootenai Lodge #24 AF&AM; Scottish Rite bodies; and Queen Esther Chapter #12, Order of the Eastern Star. He was district Chairman of White Pine Council, Boy Scouts in Coeur d'Alene; Associate Guardian of Bethel #7 Jobs Daughters; Past Patron of Queen Esther Chapter, OES; member of DeMolay Legion of Honor; and member of the Boise Woodcarvers' Club.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Ellen Parsons and his loving family.
His funeral is January 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Wright Congregational Church in Boise, ID. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Shriners' Hospital for Children, 911 W. 5th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99204, https://donate.lovetotherescue.org/.

Just learned of Dale's death. He was my Mechanical Drawing teacher @ Poky High 59/60. My thoughts and prayers for Mary Ellen and Robyn. I had kept informed about the Parsons Family through Greg Paffendorf. Dale was always a great mentor in my heart! Tom Gough
