Though I only knew him a short time, he reflected on me the kind of hardworking, diligent, and loving man many wish our fathers to be. He loved work and his family, but work was just a way of loving (and providing) for his family even more. I only wish I had more time to get to know him. My condolences are with the family at this time.

I had the honor of working with Dennis on matters of mutual professional concern over the years. Dennis always seemed to me a kind and gentle man and a passiontely professional law enforcement colleague who gave his best in service to the people of Canyon County. May God rest his soul and bring comfort his family and many friends.

It's so hard to find the words to express my sadness in hearing of Dennis' passing. I worked with him at CCSO and he was the kindest, most wonderful person. Please know that he touched the lives of so many people and will be missed so greatly. My thoughts & prayers are with you at such a difficult time.

Dennis was a very carring man, who had a very unique sense of humar. He once played a joke on me (Fred Fudpucker) in which I will never forget. I was never able to top that joke. Dennis loved his family very much. My condolences go out to his children. Remember, he always loved you. And keep him in your hearts.

I worked with Dennis for many years at the Canyon County Sheriff's Office. What I will hold in my heart forever is the memory of Dennis' great sense of humor. He was a dedicated officer and a good friend.

I worked with Dennis in the 80's while I was a caseworker with H&W. I greatly admired his work ethic; his commitment to children; his compassion for the less-fortunate; and truly loved his ironic sense of humor. It was a privilege to have known him, and I remember him fondly. He was one of the "good guys" and I am so sorry for your loss.
