Sadness filled my heart as I heard the news of Dons passing. The many memmories I have from the years gone by flood my mind, and even though sad I have to smile when thinking of Don and his smile or laugh. I first met Don when he we were all very young and he began to date Lourae. Through the next 10 years or so we all endured much of life together. Watching his family grow he became such a blessing to so many of us. Don was kind and considerate always willing to help in anyway possible.
A fine man he was, and will always be remembered as such.
God bless each of you who loved him as part of your family and remember how much others love himed also.

Don was my brother in-law many years ago and the thing I remember most about him was his sweet smile and his kindness. He was always so good to me as was his entire family , even after I was gone and I had a new family of my own. I want dear Donna, Mike and Tony to know that I have always loved them. I am a better person for having Don and his sweet mother and all of his family in my life. I know that the family members are in pain at this time, but Don loved his mother, his children, his grandchildren and his brothers and they all loved him back with all of their hearts. God bless you Don and keep you in his tender care. All of my love to all of the Young family, now and forever.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy and love to every member of Don's family at this time. Don and I were very close friends all through our high school years. We spent a great deal of time together doing everything from hunting, shooting, fixing cars, hauling hay, attending dances, to generally just trying to figure life out. Don gave me a ride to and from school nearly every day of our high school years. How I cherish the memories I have of Don and the wonderful and loyal friend that he was. If only I had been as good a friend to him as he was to me.
Though we saw each other only rarely during the past 35 years, I will always remember Don as a very good, loyal friend of my early life.
Unfortunately I did not learn of Don's passing until too late to attend the services. How I would have loved to have been there to extend this greeting personally. To all of Don's family, especially to his mother, Donna; to Don's brothers Mike and Tony; to Don's children and grandchildren and others close to him: May you feel the love and support of those many whose lives were made better for having known Don.
And to Don: May God keep you in his tender care until we meet again.

I will always remember Don since we met when we were all very young and since before all our children were born. Don and John worked together for many many years and our two familys grew very close through all the years. Don was one of the brightest and kindest men that I have ever met. He came to help support us the minute he found out we had lost our beloved Amie, that's just who he was... a True and Faithful Friend. We will miss him terribly. May God help strengthen his children and all his dear family.

Would that I could be there, know that my thoughts are with you all and I only think of Don with laughter and love. Then again there was that cousin, tubing party on the river. But that was before we ever thought of sun- screen as a necessity. I have such warm thoughts of Don and to the family my love. Blessings to him on his journey.
