I worked with Dr.Rogers at Mercy Medical Center all the time he was there. I worked in the recovery room where he brought his patients when the surgery was over. I loved his sense of humor and the way he liked to tease. He took very good care of his patients and I was really glad when he was on call when my own critically ill son needed emergency surgery on a Christmas morning. I was sorry to hear of his passing. The world is a little dimmer without him

Jan, John, Debbie and families. I was so sorry to hear about Doug's passing. He was a special cousin. He was always fun to be around when we got together for family gatherings. Our trip "following our family tree" was especially great. With love and sympathy. You are in my prayers. Janet Goertzen

We are thinking of each family member over the loss of Doug. We knew he had not been well but did not expect this news. We're so happy we had some time to share with him at our last time together when we were exploring our mutual family tree. It was nice to have some time to be re-acquainted as I had not seen him since he was just a kid.

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
