Eldon New Obituary
Born on October 4, 1940, Eldon was one of five children born to Guy Edward Allen and Ethel Irene New. Eldon was a third generation farmer whose passion for farming was developed at an early age. He took over the family farm and worked it until he retired in 1995.
Eldon was known in his community as all around good guy who would help anyone who needed a hand. For years he was actively involved in 4H shaping young minds as a mentor and leader. When encountering Eldon, Often the words were uttered "that's the nicest guy I ever met".
Eldon loved the mountains and out doors. He always had a good story to tell about his many adventures on the centennial trail ride where he fostered his pioneer spirit by traveling over a hundred miles by mule.
Eldon leaves behind his two younger sisters, Norma Dawson and Joyce Ritchie. He was preceded in death by his older sister Leola Spadie and his younger brother Larry New.
A celebration of life will be held September 9th 2024 at 11:00am at the Emmett Nazarene Church located at 1144 N. Washington Ave., Emmett, Idaho.

We will miss Eldon, he was such a great guy and resource when we built our home in High Valley. I bought my first tractor and he helped me work on it and taught me a lot about fixing things. He taught me how to make fire starter which I use to this day. I remember he got such a kick out of trapping and he had to show me his catches. We left High Valley over 10 years ago and did not communicate as much as we should have but will always remember Eldon as a quality guy and friend. Dan & Bunny Douthit
