Elsie Lorene Tollman

Elsie Lorene Tollman, 91, of Middleton, and formerly of Caldwell, died Friday, July 16, 2010 at a local assisted living center of natural causes. A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 19th, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20th, also at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. 459-3629. Elsie was born November 8, 1918 in Cleora, Oklahoma, the daughter of George Washington Deitrick and Jennie May Warner Deitrick. The family lived in Oklahoma until 1935 when they moved to Idaho. Elsie worked at Evans Fish Tackle for 3 or 4 years. She married Marion Tollman on July 27, 1940. Together they had 3 children, Joyce, Sylvia, and Darrell. Elsie worked for 20 years at Caxton Printers.
Elsie is survived by her 2 daughters, Joyce Keeter and Sylvia Dennis; a sister, Ethel Gatliff of Seattle, WA; 6 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marion in 1990; son Darrell in 2006; great granddaughter Becky Gray; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
