My prayers are with Mick and their family. Mollie must be missing Glenda.
I regard it as a precious gift that I was very close to Glenda. She was very responsible and discreet. She was a lady, and a friend and a sister to every one. I, truly, never heard Glenda utter a negative commentary about any person. She was an exemplary Catholic.
I visited her during her last years many times. We openly talked about the joy of living and also the mystery of dying. She was ready to meet her death. I knew of her critical condition, still her death fills me with grief, even if I know that I now have a close friend in heaven.
Once I asked Glenda if the color of her beautiful hair was 'real' or 'touched up.' She said: "100% real." Indeed, as real as Glenda was 100% real.
Thank you God for having created Glenda.

My love, prayers, and empathetic condolences are offered to Mick, Kristi, and the all of you who are Glenda's family and loved ones.
Glenda was always a LADY with extra emphasis on all of the lovely qualities that word entails. She handled more than her share during her years in the Emmett School District's employment and did it with such finesse that they had to hire two women to replace her.
I will always appreciate my time working with her and the friendship we shared over the words. I couldn't come in to the Jr. High office without receiving a smile and a kind word from Glenda. I cannot adequately express how much her caring and compassion has meant. She was a treasure! I will always remember her as such.
May God's comfort reach each of your hearts as you work through this time of loss and may the memories of the times you've shared with each other bring you smiles and moments of joy.
Love and Prayers, Noreen Beesley

I remember Glenda and Mick as two of the most influential people of my growing-up years in Emmett. Their kindness, hospitality, and genuine interest for me was encouragement needed for my success in life.

It is with heartfelt sympathy I send my condolences to Mick, Kristi and family. Glenda was truly one of the kindest women I have ever known. She was wonderful to me and I have fond memories of spending time with her and the Kirkpatrick family as a child. My thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
