Gloria "Nannie" Sells

1947 - 2025

Nampa - Gloria May Sells, 77, was born on October 29, 1947, in Auburn, Washington, to Marvin and Sarah Holm. She was married to Terry Sells of Nampa, Idaho. Gloria peacefully passed away on January 8, 2025, at 10:25 PM in Boise, Idaho where she was surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Gloria was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. She grew up in Washington, where she developed a deep connection to her faith and community while forming lifelong relationships. Her life was enriched by her two daughters, Lori and Rebecca, who blessed her with five amazing grandchildren: Blayke, Khiana, Courtney, Jalen, and Kenyon and one beautiful great-granddaughter, Kaylee, all of whom affectionately called her "Nannie." Gloria's grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment she spent with them.

Gloria was happily married to her husband Terry, with whom she lived a beautiful life with in Nampa, Idaho, along with her beloved dog, Bleu. Her love for her family was boundless, and she always prioritized their happiness and well-being above her own. Gloria's faith played a significant role in her life, and she was a devoted member of Ten Mile Christian Church. Her unwavering faith provided her with comfort and guidance throughout her life.

Gloria worked as a dedicated hairdresser for more than 40 years, forming meaningful friendships with many of her clients and colleagues. Her strong work ethic and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

As we gather to remember her, we carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and infectious laughter. We will cherish the moments we shared with her and honor the profound impact she had on our lives.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Gloria's life will be celebrated by her loved ones in both Idaho and Washington. Services will be held on January 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Ten Mile Christian Church in Meridian, Idaho, and on January 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Buckley, Washington. All are welcome to attend.
