We were in the first grade together and continued on through High School graduation, and were friends forever. She was always happy and was always glad to be around the group!

She was the type of person you just don't forget and think about often. We spent a lot of hours with her growing up at Washington School, so we have a lot of memories of her. Her smile was so pleasing that it just made us warm inside because you knew that smile was sincere. She was very special and my twin brother, Jerry Hawkins, and I wanted to share our feelings of Gwen. Judy Simmons

What a wonderful woman. Her passing has left a empty hole in my heart. I love you Gwen.

I had just called Gwen and we spoke for quite a while on the phone before her passing. My twin brother, Jerry, and I used to walk to and from school with her for many years and then went on to school in Filer. We rode the same bus then. We graduated together from high school. Jerry and I remember her as being a powerful baseball player. We wanted her on our team then and all through out life.
My heart goes out to her family as I know she will really be missed. God Bless, Judy Hawkins Simmons

So sad to hear about the loss of Ms. Nettleton. Loved her as a Biology teacher all those years ago. Ran into her in town not to long ago and was able to say Hello. Prayers and Love to her Family.

Gen was the sweetest person. I only knew her from waiting on her at costco in nampa. She has been at the top of my prayer list for a very long time. She always says that was what was keeping her a live. I am deeply sorry she lost her fight with cancer. May she rest on piece.
I will miss her so much.
My deepest sympathy in your lose.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Ms. Nettleton. She was my favorite teacher in high school. She instilled a love of biology in me while teaching me so many other life lessons. Because of her I went on to work in a biology related field, I am sure that would not have happened without her.
