Jim and Stephanie have been dear friends of my parents for a long time. They hosted us for Young Life at their home many times, babysat my kids and Jim loved showing Cassidy his trains. Rest in peace, Jim.

Norm and I have been friends of Jim and Stephanie since Jason was a baby. They are like family to us, and we will miss Jim as much as if he were our own brother. We were so glad when they moved off the mesa down to Warm Springs just 6 blocks away! It brought us all even closer through the milestones of our children and our lives together. We will miss you, Jim!

Our children went to Boise High and were friends with Laura and Jason. We also have a cabin on Lake Cascade, down the street from the White House. Always enjoyed seeing them up there. Last winter Laura trudged along the frozen lake to have a visit with me and Terry. A remarkable family. Jim will be missed by all the people he has connected with. So sorry for your loss, Stephanie, Laura and Jason.

I knew Jim in the community but got to know and appreciate his wisdom when I joined him on the board of BLK 22, owner of the Grove Hotel and Steelheads hockey team. He was an honorable business partner.
My sympathy to Jim´s wife Stephanie, Laura and Jason and family. A life well lived.

Not sure which came first, meeting Jim in the community or through the friendship established between his son Jason and mine, Mike. Whichever, it was somehow special. Whenever we crossed paths it felt like it had been a long standing friendship. He was one of the most real people I ever met and he contributed so much. Rest in Peace, Jim.

I worked for Jim at what was then Wright Leasure Development Company. He was undoubtedly one of the nicest and smartest people I have ever met. I learned so much from him and the world is a little darker without him in it. My heart goes out to Steph and Jason and Laura.. Know that he had a huge impact on me and a lot of other people he knew and he will be missed.

My wife Janet and I have had the pleasure of living next door the Gentleman Jim and Steph White for the past several years. Jim and I grew close and I held him in high regard. I never once heard Jim speak ill of another individual. He was an adventurous, thoughtful and kind gentleman. I admired and loved him.

Jim had the wonderful gift of a great sense of humor, a giving nature and a truly generous heart.
He left this world a better place because of his decency and his love of life.
He will be missed by all who knew him.

I called you Dad since 1997 after Mike and I met you and Stephanie. You always made me feel safe and loved. My heart breaks for Stephanie, Jason, Laura and your grand babies...but we will see you again. Hug Mike for me. Love you much.

My memories go way back to the 1970s when we were neighbors with the Whites. Jim had a very generous heart and a gift of having everyone feel welcome in their home or on their boat. My family will miss his loving presence.
