Jacob P. Sales, 22, of Caldwell, passed away, Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born on February 24, 1995 in Watsonville, CA to Christopher Pavley and Joya Sales.
Jacob's life mattered. He made an impression on our hearts. His death brought us sadness and tore our world apart. He left us way to young; when his life was to begin and he will be forever missed until we meet again.
Jacob was an only child. He was born in California and then moved to Idaho as a toddler. Jacob was skilled at free style drawings and spray paint art.
Jacob leaves behind his mother, Joya Sales; grandparents, Maxine Sales, Adrian and Carol Sales and Terry Myers as well as multiple aunties, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Jacob will be missed forever!

I am at such a loss over this, my heart is completely shattered... Jacob never failed to be there for me on the multiple occasions that I truly felt like I had nothing and no one. He never hesitated to comfort/console me, especially when I needed it the most. He had often been solely responsible for restoring my dwindling faith in humanity... his selfless heart and unconditional kindness literally saved my life more times than I'm comfortable admitting. I will treasure his friendship forever.
They say "the good die young..." I'm sure I can confidently speak for myself as well as others when I say Jacob wasn't just 'good' because he was one of the greatest.
It has been an absolute privilege and an honor to call you my friend... rest easy, Jacob. My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to his loved ones during this unimaginable time of grief.

I'm so sorry. I knew Jacob from my sister. He was always very kind, treating me like a little sister "Hey Laura, look at this!" Showing me a funny video, or a picture. Telling me how much he loved my dog. He lit up a dark room. My love goes out to Jacobs family during this time. He was so funny, very talented, and never once mean to me. He had a passion for animals as the same as myself. My heart aches for Jacobs family and friends.
