Jessie Celmer Obituary
Marrie married Leonard "Spud" Celmer on December 27, 1967. She resided in Wilder at the same address for more than 65 years. She always enjoyed gardening, taking pride in her yard and baskets of geraniums that always brightened her home. She worked for Morfitts in Wilder and Fogg Tax Services until she retired. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, occasional trips to Jackpot and the monthly pinochle parties with several of her closest friends.
She is survived by two nephews, Dan Marston and Ted Marston, three grandsons, Eric Celmer, Kurt Celmer, and Justin Hemby, Spud's daughter Donna Hemby and many grand & great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Spud, her brother Bill and his wife Mary, her nephew Doug and his wife Lynn, and Spud's son Lee and wife Shelley.
Graveside services will be held at the Wilder Cemetery on November 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
Special thanks to her Wilder neighbors Sonny and Margie Sarceda who kept a watchful eye on Marie before she moved to Grace Assisted Living in 2020.
The family would like to thank the caring nurses and staff of Grace Assisted Living and All Care Hospice for the dedicated and loving care shown to Marie over the past years.
